Dorfman Karate’s medal-winning legacy continues to shine

Dorfman Karate, led by the formidable Malcolm and Shane Dorfman, continues its decades-long legacy of discipline and excellence, celebrating multiple triumphs throughout 2024.

The dojo showcased its prowess at the KWFSA National Junior Championship, walking away with an astonishing 77 medals (including 29 gold), with juniors Nathan Gavin and Safiya Barklem each clinching four gold medals. Senior competitors were equally successful, securing 28 medals at the KWFSA Senior Championship. As the dojo looks ahead to its 55th anniversary in 2025, it maintains its position as a unique powerhouse of traditional Japanese karate.
